David Ellis Catering focuses to provide our client's with a stress-free event planning process. Our services include staffing, event design, floral design, rental equipment, specialty lighting, entertainment, and of course a fantastic culinary experience. Throughout our tenure, we’ve catered thousands of events for Private, Corporate, and Not for Profit clients in the New York Metro Area. Whether a simple delivery to a new client, or an outrageous Gala; our family operated business takes pride in providing each client with an outstanding level of service, and an experience worth remembering. Chad Ellis Peters, Jonathan David Peters and Ryan William Peters collectively have over 30 years of experience in Private Dining, Catering, and the Event Production industry.  Chad, President and Executive Chef, leads a crew of 25 internationally trained chefs.  Jonathan, Vice-President and Event Designer, oversees all aspects of Event Production and Client Relations.  Ryan, Director of Operations, manages over 200 employees and is responsible for Business operations. 

2009 marks the 5-year Anniversary for David Ellis Catering. Recently, David Ellis was highlighted by New Jersey Life as one of the “A-Listers: Spas, Boutiques, Escapes and Food” of New Jersey”. During the same period of time David Ellis enjoyed the honor of Cooking for President Barack Obama.

David Ellis operates out of an 8,000 square feet cooking and production facility in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, conveniently situated between New York City and the Fortune 500 belt of New Jersey. Since its inception, David Ellis has donated over $300,000 in product and services to a variety of charitable organizations in New York and New Jersey. Our company philosophy is to positively reinforce the communities with which we built our business.
